Slashing the price of the application fees for previous customers for Christmas*

Times are tough, moving house is not only stressful but expensive and with less money in most people’s pockets these days we feel we would like to make a things a little easier for those choosing to look for a property to rent through Outlet.

Application fees on top of all the other funds that need to be found, month’s rent in advance, six weeks deposit, moving vans etc can be tough. We at Outlet felt we should absorb some costs for any of our previous customers who have in the past registered their details with our company. We strongly believe companies should reward customers for their loyalty.

So instead of the usual £264 (incl. VAT) we have reduced our administration fees for the months of November, December and January down to £60 (incl. VAT). This cost includes all referencing for one tenant (identity, immigration and visa confirmation, financial credit checks, obtaining references from current or previous employers / landlords and any other relevant information to assess affordability) as well as contract negotiation (amending and agreeing terms) and arranging the tenancy and agreement. It also includes registering your deposit with The Deposit Scheme (DPS).

 All other agents are continuing to charge in excess of £250 with some of the very infamous ones charging nearly £500!

We hope our small gesture helps makes things a little easier and enables you to use the money saved on something for your new home or even yourself. Perhaps an early Christmas present? We also give all new tenants a bottle of wine when they collect their keys. We also plant a broad leaf tree for every property we let. Just a couple of things that give our customers more reasons to smile and less to worry about.
