Job description:
Outlet is looking for a new front-end developer / web designer with a sharp eye for detail, great knowledge of UX/UI and current and upcoming Web technologies.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our websites look clean, are fast, look fantastic and conform to all standards.
Skills & Requirements:
Key duties:
- Responsible for all aspect of front-end development
- Creating good looking, user friendly and fast user interfaces using the newest technologies
- Make recommendations for improvements and refinements to existing products
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of standards and industry best practices
Key skills:
- 4+ years experience in Web design and front-end development
- Expert knowledge in web standards, responsive and adaptive designs, progressive enhancement and graceful degradation
- Strong knowledge of Haml, Sass, Ruby on Rails, javascript/jquery
- Experience using version management software, preferably git/github
- Ability to provide clean, handwritten xhtml/css
- Experience with TDD/BDD
