Eco initiatives

We love this planet and we know that it matters to you, too.

So we do all we can to raise awareness for environmental initiatives and reduce our own carbon footprint as a business. We plant a tree for every single property we let to a tenant. We regularly publish stories on our blog that encourage or help people to be environmentally friendly at home. And we are constantly shouting at David to only fill the kettle half way when he makes a cuppa, to save electricity.

Giving to good causes

We’ve lost count of the charities we’ve supported or raised money for over the years, but they include Dogs Trust, NAT, Movember, and Crisis.

Needless to say, we’re unwavering in our attempts to support those in need. Most recently, our chosen charity is Albert Kennedy Trust, a not-for-profit organisation that helps young and homeless LGBT people get back on their feet.

Lets with Pets

At a time when landlords were turning tenants away because they had a pet, Outlet was courageous, pioneering – and kind. We found a way to help people with a cat, dog, bunny or budgie find a home along with their beloved animals, because we believe people who have a pet are no less worthy of a great place to live. We championed their cause, launching ‘Lets with Pets’ and spreading the word among our landlords that people with pets make responsible, trustworthy tenants. And it’s worked! Let’s with Pets is now one of the most popular services we provide.
