Kinga Parker– Accounts
There is one thing that can be said about Kinga and that is the fact that she likes to talk, she is what we might say a very charismatic person.
Kinga is a lively and bubbly character and perfect for dealing with the extremely complex and detailed accounts of a property company. Dealing from everything as day to day book keeping through to overseeing the management accounts for all our properties which are audited annually by ARLA as well as the all important staff commissions her day is packed and most definitely variable. Also her gung-ho Polish attitude works well amongst a lively and enthusiastic team whilst here sensibility as a mother ensues a calmer temperament within the sometimes manic and very busy Outlet office. A valuable member of the team and extremely well liked by everyone, well she does after all ensure everyone gets paid!
Kinga Parker - Q and A
What values do you feel are important in working for Outlet?
For me it is the people working in Outlet. I value their enthusiasm, professionalism and friendliness. No day is the same within the Outlet quarters!
Where is your favourite place to live in London?
The place to live for me must be Chiswick. Chiswick High Road contains a mix of boutique retail, restaurants, food outlets and expanding office and hotel space. The wide streets encourage cafes, pubs and restaurants to provide pavement seating, which creates a great outdoor atmosphere. It also has some impressive architecture which includes Chiswick House - a magnificent neo-Palladian villa set in beautiful historic gardens. The gardens at Chiswick House are also the birthplace of the English Landscape Movement and have inspired countless gardens including New York's Central Park.
What are your favourite things to do in London?
Dining, dining, dining … that is my favourite thing to do in London! As I am not the best cook in town I love being served food by people who actually know how to do it properly. And you don’t have to look far in London to find a restaurant / bistro / café or pub. London has a great selection of restaurants serving dishes from across the world so take your pick and enjoy!
Best night out in London?
As I get older my definition of “best night out in London” changes rapidly! The days of dancing the night away in West End clubs are swapped now for bars & restaurant entertainment as my first choice. Only recently I have been introduced to a tiny place called Nam Long Le Shaker. World famous as the home to the legendary Flaming Ferrari, a favourite of London's glitterati for years and a drink many make the pilgrimage to Chelsea for exclusively, this contribution to the cocktail phenomenon can only be found in the capital's most storied watering hole, Nam Long. This bar is always cramped with a narrow bar and cheap looking colonial-style wicker chairs. But most importantly you discover great atmosphere and a place full of friendly people with lots of interesting stories to exchange.
Most treasured landmark or place of interest?
Epping Forest – a great place for family day out, bike ride with your friends, picnic, horse riding or just a simple walk. Every season in Epping Forest is unique and worth seeing. Easily accessible from Central London by London Underground (Central Line), followed by a short bus ride or walk. Why be stuck in the city when a whole new world is waiting for you – go on and discover it!
Favourite motto?
We can’t both look good … It’s either me …. or the house!
