The Green Part
The ideal person will have a huge bright green heart who cares about the planet and the environment in which we live. As well as managing the day to day affairs of our property portfolio you will be at the forefront of bringing in green improvements for our tenants and landlords. Through education and the belief that we can all do our bit to protect the planet on which we live you will steer green initiatives for all the homes under our protective wing.
You should have a green track record and a passion for believing that together we can save the planet and all that live on it. Come prepared with ideas of what can initially be done on a small scale but that will lead to a glowing impact overall.
The day to day
- Ensuring all rent comes in when it is due and chase arrears.
- Meeting landlords and tenants
- Liaise with utility providers and relevant local authorities
- Negotiating and co-ordinating renewal contracts
- Producing lettings paperwork including tenancy agreements and renewal agreements
- Overseeing tenant referencing
- Handling the whole move in process and make sure Landlords & Tenants are kept up to date
- Periodic property inspections / checks when required
- End of tenancy processing and returning tenants deposits
- Reply to all maintenance reports in an adequate and timely manner
- Making sure all maintenance issues for managed properties are resolved and Landlords and Tenants are kept updated
The bigger picture
We are a small company who has huge ideas. You would become a fundamental person in the new Green team we are building. It is foreseen that the right candidate will oversee the original property portfolio but as we expand in size to be responsible for bringing on more people through to eventually taking a managerial role over a whole team.
We are implementing new property management software and you would be expected to assist in its implementation and have a high ability to use technology and the programs we use. Full training is always given.
Weekly mentoring sessions with the director are given on Meditation and Mindfulness to assist you in reaching your full potential in life in and outside the office environment.
Starting Salary: £18,000 pa (a higher salary will be paid for those with managerial experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
