Full Time Position
Based at 32 Old Compton Street, London W1D 4TP & occasionally Whitechapel
Working hours generally Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm

Flexibility is required.

Outlet are currently recruiting for an administrator to work within our busy lettings and property management team at our Soho headquarters. The selected candidate will be prepared to be trained in the day to day running of a busy and expanding estate agency. Must be prepared to be flexible with out-of-hours work and maybe an occasional weekend.

Duties will include:

  • Overseeing the initial stages of the tenancy life cycle and working closely with our branch network of lettings negotiators
  • Creating and handling files
  • Drawing of tenancy agreements
  • Providing landlords with all relevant documentation and managing the process from start to finish to ensure the file is complete and ready for the tenancy to commence
  • Communicating with landlords, contractors and tenants and managing requirements from both parties
  • Arranging necessary appointments related to check in's, gas safety inspections etc
  • Managing and overseeing the referencing process and identifying any challenges that may affect the tenancy commencing as planned
  • Furnishing landlords and tenants with all information relating to their tenancy and being on hand to answer any queries
  • Handling daily property management queries
  • Registering reported property faults and liaising with contractors, landlords and tenants to carry out repairs
  • Overseeing and organising property inspections

You must be able to demonstrate strong computer skills, have excellent communication skills and good grammar, be polite and presentable at all times whilst being confident with excellent spoken English. Previous experience in this preferred but not essential as full training will be given. Applicants should have a keen interest of working within the property market. 

This is a temporary contract to provide maternity cover for a period of 9-10 months until the current associate returns from leave.  There may however be permanent opportunities within the company at the end of the temporary contract for anyone who demonstrates an aptitude for the work in our business. 

Relevant industry training will be given as and when required. Examinations and courses are expected to be taken further along the training.
