Andrew Thiele

Andrew Thiele – Sales Director

My Real Estate career started in 1990 and has taken me from Christchurch, New Zealand to London to Auckland and back to London.

Those 25 years have given me a wonderful knowledge in property sales , property management , purchasing , investing , redeveloping , subdivision , construction and financing. This broad and diverse experience has given me all the skills to be able to assist my clients in many different and sometimes challenging scenarios.

I will ensure that all my clients get the best service, commitment to communication, clarity of information and a friendly honest approachable manner throughout the process of their property transactions.

I look forward to being of service and proving that property negotiations can be more professional in London and the UK.

Andrew Thiele - Q and A

What inspired you to work in property?

I come from a family of estate agents, my father was 30 years in the business and my brother is now 40 years in commercial sales. I grew up with the phone going constantly about new listings and often went along on viewings with him. In fact at about 9 years of age I did a viewing for him because he was late and the buyers bought the property. So I guess I really can say it’s in my blood.

I do however truly love to see all the different things that owners do with their homes and how buyers can see new opportunities, and therefore getting two parties to agree a sale is very rewarding and exciting to me still.

What values do you feel are important in working for Outlet?

I’m thrilled to be back with the Outlet team after a 9 year stint back in NZ their dedication to be at the cutting edge of property transactions, marketing and service levels you will find hard to beat.

And of course a sense of fun and camaraderie.

Where is your favourite place to live in London?

I have been very fortunate twice to have stayed with friends in Spitalfields in wonderful historic, Fournier Street. I think the mix of the vibrant cafe City scene and the Brick Lane markets and of course the wonderful Colombia Road Sunday flower markets , means I’m an East End lad now. I now live in Whitechapel with all my favourites still only minutes walk away.

What are your favourite things to do in London?

I absolutely love walking and so Sunday strolls along South Bank or anywhere I can see the Thames is my real passion. I also still get a thrill to know I live in this great City.

Markets as above are fun, especially Thursday antiques at Spitalfields, if I can get there with a break in the working day.

Best night out in London?

Nothing is nicer for me than a great meal out with stimulating company, good friends and laughing the night away.

Favourite motto?

“Yesterday is gone, Tomorrow is not here, Today is now and so make the most of it!”

Andrew likes:

I like walking, garden design, reading, antiques, renovation and dining out.

Andrew dislikes:

There is very little I dislike and what I do I have learned to accept or let go of, best to save that energy for better things.
